The fourteenth issue of the South African Child Gauge® focuses on child and adolescent health – setting an agenda for 2030 to ensure that South Africa’s children not only survive but reach their full potential.
This issue reflects on progress and identifies current and emerging challenges. It calls for policies and programmes to prioritise child and adolescent health and identifies critical points of leverage, shifts in thinking and examples of good practice that can help us move forward.
The launch will be co-hosted by the Children’s Institute, University of Cape Town; the DST-NRF Centre of Excellence in Human Development, University of Witwatersrand; UNICEF South Africa; the Standard Bank Tutuwa Community Foundation and the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation.
