The Children's Institute monitors South Africa's progress in realising children's rights and generates evidence to centre children's rights in government's planning and reform processes. Through this work, we hold the state accountable to its constitutional obligations. We play a leading role in developing civil society shadow reports to international and regional human rights treaty supervisory committees.
